Cookies on This Site, Explained
Last updated: October 2026
Cookie notices tend to run to several screens. Ours is short, because Jubilee Acres Finance stores almost nothing on your device.
Cookies and local storage in a sentence each
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, often to remember a login or to recognise you on a later visit. Local storage is a similar space inside your browser where a page can save a small value and read it back next time.
What this site keeps
We do not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies or any cookie that tracks you across other websites. The site has no accounts, no comments and no basket, so there is nothing that needs a login cookie either.
The only thing saved is your answer to the cookie banner. When you press one of its buttons, that choice is written to your browser's local storage so the banner stays out of your way on the next page. It is a single short value. It never leaves your device, we cannot see it, and it carries no information about who you are.
| Item | Type | Why | Kept until |
|---|---|---|---|
| Banner answer | Local storage | So the banner is not shown again after you reply | You clear this site's data in your browser |
Changing or removing your choice
To see the banner again, clear the stored data for this site. In most browsers you can do this from the padlock or site-information icon next to the address bar, or from the privacy section of the browser settings, where you can remove cookies and site data for a single website. Browsing in a private window also starts with nothing stored.
Blocking cookies and local storage entirely will not stop any article from working. The only effect is that the banner may appear again on each visit.
Other websites
A few articles send you onward to outside websites. Those destinations may use cookies of their own once you arrive there, under their own policies. Nothing from them is loaded on our pages in advance.
If this changes
Should we ever add a feature that needs further cookies, this page and the banner will be updated first, so you can decide before anything new is stored. For the wider picture, including server logs and emails, see Your Privacy. Questions are welcome through Talk to Us.
